So I have a game issued jersey... I was very excited to find that the player would be doing a signing so I went with the jersey. I have pictures with myself and the player, him signing it, etc. The only thing I didn't know about was using a paint pen which I found out about after the jersey was signed. Instead I had him use a silver sharpie. Seeing as the number is very dark, the signature is a bit light. I was so happy at first, but now (unlike most normal people) am a bit bothered. I guess my biggest concern is the signature fading, especially to the point where you cannot see it anymore. It's in a frame, with the signature to the back, but maybe one day I'll flip it around to that the signature is visible. So my questions are as follows 1) Do you think the signature will hold up? 2) Would you try and get him to reautograph the jersey.. maybe even trace over his previous signature? 3) I doubt it as it is signed and I have proof, but will it hurt the value if I ever plan to sell it?
