And thanks for the compliment, Ted. I'd say the Roosevelt was about eight hours of work, or ten if you include the one I threw out. I was highly motivated to take my best shot at the Dunn jersey!

Folks,

First of all, pleaes let me apologize for the grand-standing. I hope that this request isn't too out-of-place, though, considering it regards me being able to add something to the "November Pick-Ups" thread (when it occurs). I haven't posted a ton in my time here, but I've been here a while, am a huge fan and regular lurker, and this would mean a ton to me.

So, I entered the Washington Nationals' Pumpkin Carving Contest this year, hoping to win a game-used Adam Dunn jersey. My submission, based mostly on the mascot races that occur regularly in D.C., roots for poor, ever-losing Teddy Roosevelt.

I was fortunate enough to be judged into the top three entries, but now the voting is up to the fans. As I said before, if I win the fan voting, then I win the Adam Dunn jersey I'd really, REALLY like to have.

And so I'm asking, would you be willing to throw a few votes my way? I promise I'll post the jersey up if I emerge victorious.
