Grey Flannel said he wore it in an exhibition against the Red Sox in 1939.

Since all freshman teams at Yale wore very similar jerseys (With their graduating year across their chest) wouldn't it make sense that he wore this jersey his freshman year and then again in 1939 in the exhibition game?

I know I was just teasing, I think the year book cover said it all

Sounds like quite the precognitive yearbook!

I think that was just an error.

It should of read "The 1939 Freshman Baseball Team".

At least that's what the headline reads for all the other 1939 graduating teams.

Got this Eddie Collins Jr. Yale jersey from Grey Flannel a couple of months ago with a nice discount.

I have this 1937 Yale yearbook (My great uncles), inside the yearbook is a picture of the Yale freshman baseball team (Including Collins Jr.).

Anyways, was just wondering if this was the same jersey?
