Aaron Hernandez rookie TE from the NE Patriots game used breast cancer awareness pink cleats from the Dolphins game on 10/4. As well as another pair of white game used cleats.
I've picked up quite a few jerseys lately and here are some of the recent highlights which add to my player collections!
-2010 Josh Willingham - originated from Andrew Lang of course. Thanks!!!
-2010 Adam Rosales Road - Thanks Paul
-2010 Adam Rosales ST or BP
-2010 Scott Rolen Signed, Inscribed, MLB Auth - Thanks to Ronnie Ross
Big thanks to Ben/Gorilla777 for offering me the perfect bat for my collection... One of my all time favorites, Jim Thome. I love that its an Indians bat, because I got hooked on Thome when he killed the Royals as a long-time Indian. Back before I was married with children I went to nearly every Indians game in KC. This bat is uncracked and is well used with one of the best ink transfers I've ever seen - nearly the entire front writing of the OMLB.
Oliver Perez 2008 jersey from the Final Game at Shea Stadium. Not a great player, but he was Shea's last starting pitcher. This jersey shows great use. Any one else on the forum have a jersey from this game ??
While it's far outside of my collecting area, I still love the Twins. This is the 2nd base used in the 2006 ALDS in the Metrodump vs the A's. Too bad the Twinkies got swept in 3 games.
Appreciate everyone's kind words. To say I was excited when I opened the case would be an understatement. I hope you're right on the Griffey comparison. Always nice when someone is not just a rare talent but also perceived to be a great person. Now if I could just find one of Heyward's 2010 game used bats to compliment the glove . . .

I hope the bat won't compliment the glove. They are inanimate objects, after all.
Doug, you have an amazing collection sweet pickups. Heyward is going to be next Griffey (hopefully without the injuries)

I don't typically post on the pick-ups, but took my chances on a case of Just Memorabilia's Mystery Gamers and came up big . . .
Reid Brignac auto game used cap
Jay Bruce auto game used batting gloves
Jose Iglesias auto game used batting gloves
And THEN a pair of Billy Butler auto/GU spikes and a Jason Heyward auto/GU fielding glove! Both are from 2008, but still extremely cool. Spikes are absolutely filthy and the glove shows great use.

Sweet bat Wes. Jim is so undervalued in the market. Great idea picking his stuff up. He will have 600 homers this year.
