They actually played the Rams on 10/19/08. They played the Cardinals on 10/12/08 and wore the white jerseys.

Well guys I was wrong. Turns out the Boys only wore white during the preseason. After doing some research Roy only played 3 games during the 08 season because of a broken forearm. The first game of the season was the only game they wore the GU patch. The Philly game when he broke his arm they were wearing the white jerseys. He came back on 10/12/08 to play in the blue jersey with no patch vs. the Rams. He rebroke the arm and was placed on IR. I believe that is when he wore this jersey.

Well I have narrowed it down to 2 games he could of worn this jersey in. This is going to be a preseason jersey because he only played 2 games during the regular season because of a forearm injury. Also the first game he played in he wore the GU patch. So this was either worn against the Vikings or Broncos.

He changed to #38 cause that was his college number. He probably wanted 38 originally but I'm guessing it was taken so he just took 31.

I wonder why he waited until 2008 to change to #38 since no one wore #38 in 2006-2007?

#38 was worn by Lynn Scott from 2003-2005.

#38 was worn by Duane Hawthorn from 1999-2002.

Then, for fun, from Wikipedia: "Williams announced that he will be wearing No. 38 at the start of the 2008 season because that was the number he wore in college and also "8" in the Bible signifies a new beginning"

I'm not going to look up why he switched back to #31 with Cincinnati.

Just picked up this gamer of one of my favorite former Cowboys. I am trying to photomatch it but am having problems because Getty does not have many images of him from 08. This jerseys has some nice stains and hit marks on the front numbers. Should be easy to find since it is from after his number switch but before Gene Upshaw died. Anyone that knows of a good website with NFL pics please let me know.
