The Goodman tag caught my attention. Was that style used on MLB gamers?

The Goodman/Mizuno tag was used, but every exemplar of it that I've seen were in 1980 gamers.

emann's link to the Legendary Auctions Danny Ozark gamer also shows white trim around the back number and NOB, which the Garvey doesn't appear to have.

Not a gamer.

Patch design is off, numeric and NOB fonts are slightly off, and I don't think the serafed numbers appeared on Goodman tags yet in 1980 (someone correct me if I am wrong on that). The only thing right is the size, as Garvey did take a 44 in that era.
