Picked up a couple of bases with some quirkiness behind them (& was at both games):

6/21/11 SD @ Red Sox: 2nd Base used the entire game- David Ortiz stole second in this game. Who knows when that will ever happen again!

7/8/11 Balt @ Red Sox: 3rd Base used the entire game- David Ortiz vs Kevin Gregg brawl in the 8th inning. Josh Reddick called out after abandoning third base to join the fight.

Picked up this jersey worn by Chris Speier when he managed the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League in 1998.



The eBay seller didn't even recognize it as a game-worn item, and just had it listed under "Used Clothing". Also obviously had not researched it to discover its wearer, which the League office was able to help me to do.

Consequently, I was the only bidder, and happy to have gotten a real bargain, and a very cool addition to both my Diamondbacks and Fall League collections.

Picked up a Demarcus Ware Throwback gamer from last Thanksgiving from the MEARS Auction last night. Very excited about it and happy that tonight he was the only Cowboy who showed up and got four sacks!

Just picked up a pair of PE Victorino batting glove, and a Brandon League Road Mariners Jersey. Also add a missing bat to my Hawaii position player bat collection, in Mike Huff. The Vic gloves are pretty cool and real show off the Hawaii theme. They have the Hawaiian island on the palm's and wrist and Vic's, home island of Maui is highlighted.

They would have found you. Then we could have seen you on Sportscenter being escorted out of the stadium.

The game was already out of hand, had I gotten the ball I probably would have left right then. It would have been cool to be on Sportscenter though, even if it was Not Top 10.
