Getty is all subject to the photographer who post the picture. I have seen plenty of times where they even have the player in the picture wrong in their description.
Even with all of the problems, it is still a very worthwhile tool.

I`ve Tried to Photomatch numerous Gwynn Bats, late 80`s-Late 90`s. Getty Images are OFTEN mislabeled w/wrong date etc...Even some Info including descriptions aren`t even close to accurate.
Recently I`ve tried to Photomatch several V. Guerrero Bats & again have noticed the dates/game info is incorrect.
Not sure how circumstances can "put the Photo at the wrong date/Locale" sounds impossible to me.
Good luck sorting it out with Getty, if that`s your intention.

I can't say about recent years, but numerous photos from the early 1990s and back on Getty are dated with the wrong year/season. I'll try to post a few examples when I can get around to it.

Getty Images Misclassified Picture
Does anybody have a contact at Getty to address a photo that is clearly misclassified as far as date and description which also textually puts the photo at the wrong locale/date? (Wrong color jersey for the game)
