Wow thanks everyone!!

It's a great job and I can't wait to get out there and start shooting! My first day on the job will be April 3rd when the Atlanta Braves play their top prospects in an exhibition game, so if anyones in town this summer then be sure to check out a game this season and don't be afriad to say hi!

The job should bring new opportunities for me and they said I'll have chances to have photoshoots with the players & do headshots from time to time whenever there's a new player on the roster, so it sounds like a lot of fun I'll be having this summer. I'll keep everyone updated!

Well I was originally interviewed last year for the job but the media relations manager who interviewed me was a prick and waited 3 months (until a week before Opening Day) to tell me that I didn't get the job, even after I had already upgraded all of my equipment like I promised him at my interview. Then this past January I noticed there was a new media relations manager for the team so I immediately contacted him and asked if there would be opportunities for photography again this year and included a link to my portfolio website. I was actually the first to contact him about it he said, so I earned an interview last week and got a call on Thursday to learn that I got the job.

Great story Kyle! Shows by pushing foward and being aggressive as you were, pays off! Now I can say I personally know someone in the Big Leagues (lol). Good luck!!
