I too am very stoked about joining this site. I came across it while searching google for game used Packers items and have been checking it out ever since. I'm mostly a football guy, but I love baseball and have gotten the firewood bug as of late.

Well I, for one, am truly excited about joining the forum. I've been lurking for about 6 months now. It is very impressive how much knowledge is out here! I am originally from Detroit but just recently moved to Illinois. It's tough seeing all of these Bears, Blackhawks, Cubs/Whitesoxe, and Bulls fans. It's all good fun though.

With the start of baseball season upon us, I am surprised to see so many football posts now on this portion of the forum. For years this forum has been "cluttered" with baseball bat (firewood) collectors, with very few football posts - even during football season. New football item collecting members have helped balance the mix. Or, perhaps with baseball season upon us the firewood collectors are all on the hunt to add more bats to the 500 that they already have...
