Hi Brian, I live in Australia and have been receiving GU packages for at least a year with no problem. I have been buying cards from overseas for the past 4 and the only issue I had was with 1 guy on a sports card forum that ripped a heap of people off.
Only game used problem I had was some packaging that fell apart. Every now and then customs will open a package and they leave a note in there to say they did.
Shipping times can vary between 2 weeks and 4 weeks.
Are you telling me there is another collector down here Brian???
