An interesting pick up of a jersey that was in the news for the wrong reason … the Bruce Chen throwback Monarchs jersey worn during the June 9, 2012 game against the Pirates. Yes, the same game where teammate Humberto Quintero thought it would be a good idea to make the slanted eyes gesture. So the Chen jersey isn’t game used per se (since he didn’t pitch that night), but still a significant pick up.
Oh, and I also finally picked up a Royals Joplin jersey this month too.

Took a little longer to get it than expected because the Maine Red Claws shipped to the wrong address and got a RTS, but added another nice one to my Memphis Tigers collection...

As posted on the college game used thread, technically these were purchased in june.

From the last milehigh auction.

DJ Williams - Issued 2001 Rose Bowl jersey, marked "B" for a backup jersey used. Not to much to say about that but awesome jersey nonetheless.

Devin Hester - I'll call this one a game "worn" instead of used. Worn on 11/19/05 vs. Georgia Tech. Nike made revolution jerseys for 3 school's only (miami, vtech, and the gators) and were only worn once. Hester was injured and did not actually play in the game, but the injured players did wear their jersey's on the sidelines. Nonetheless a rare jersey given its style, and worn by the best returner ever in the game!

Heavy use or not, that Pinson gamer is a great item! That was the VERY beginning for the Seattle Mariners (the regular season versions had NOBs).

Thanks Dave I really wanted some concrete evidence that this was worn by Vada ....but in my eyes an LOA from the Stigalls will suffice!!.

Its too bad that Vada had those nagging injuries after 68 it went downhill..coudlve had 3000 hits, 500 2B, and 300 HR???

Another group of absolutely unreal gamers that I recently had the good fortune to acquire.

Bart Oates 1994 playoff and SB XXIX worn throwback, complete with LOA from Oates plus his 1995 and 1996 Pro Bowl worn gamers (also with his personal LOA). All 3 shirts show nice use with the throwback having a # of small repairs and the PB jerseys both having a number of hits, paint transfers etc.

Dealing with Joe at B and E Collectables has always been a true pleasure. They are very open about what they have, answer questions freely and have a great return policy (which I rarely use but is nice to have!). If they are selling something that I am interested in, I am more than happy to purchase from B and E.

Always buying 49ers game used and ALL/ANY 1994 49er GU items as well as paying a finders fee for quality info leading to a purchase.
