    This jersey had been folded and was just taken out of a bag, so the body is a little wrinkled... But I think you get the point.... And here's a Cal jersey with longer sleeves.

    Here's an example of youth shoulder pads under a newer, tight jersey. The pads are not stretching the fabric, and I think the shoulders look pretty good.

    thanks for the advice guys, i saw some wr pads too on ebay but they can get pricey. I will check out the youth pads and see how they look.

    Youth shoulder pads from the local Goodwill should do the trick 90% of the time. They will fill up the shoulder cut of your jersey without really stretching the fabric much.

    I've displayed jerseys on a mannequin with shoulder pads but for only lineman types. They just look better to me that way. I tried some smaller skill player cut jerseys and they are pretty tight fitting. These types of jersey display just fine without the pads.

    I was thinking of displaying some jerseys with football pads. I was curious if this would have any disadvantages (as far as stretching or strain on the jersey) Has anyone done this before?
