Hello...thanks for the responses...here is what I picked up...seeing that its Set#2, it could have possibly been worn during the Tigers World Series Championship of '84...#11 is also now retired by the Tigers commemorating Sparky's tenure with the Tigers..

It was the NORM for the Tigers, back in the 70's,80's, and some 90's jersey's., especially when Fetzer owned the Team, and Jim Campbell was the GM. They Sold nothing and recycled everything.

Very true. I've even seen 1980s Old-Timers game jerseys that were recent player jerseys number and name changed and recycled.

Does anyone have information about the Tigers recycling/re-using jerseys from this time period? I have an '84 home jersey that shows signs of another players name/number...please share with me your thoughts...thanks
