My thoughts are save your money for a regular season jersey and go with Machado. The kid will be huge. Jones is not in that class as a player.

I highly doubt a spring training jersey would be worthy of an investment piece.
You don't really see people looking for HOF players' ST jerseys ever and I don't think the 2 you listed will be an exception in the future.
That being said, my preference would be for the Machado jersey over Jones.

Id go with machado. Being there both spring training jerseys. I would think the Rookie season one would be more valuable in the long run.

I personally would save the money for a actual season used jersey. I'm sure because of his hype the jersey ain't cheap to begin with. And say he does become a huge star, will a spring training BP jersey really go up in value much?

If you are doing it for investment purposes, the Machado has greater potential to be worth more. However, Adam Jones is more of a sure bet. Prospects don't always pan out. So - Just keep that in mind, when you make your purchase. Good luck in whatever you decide.

You will be able to buy plenty of A Jones stuff in the future, but a first ST jersey of Machado would be a no brainer!

I would probably lean towards Machado if you are looking at it as an investment. They both will be/are solid major league players for many years to come.

I have the chance to pick up two nice jerseys, the problem is I can only afford one right now.

I wanted to ask members of the forum which one they think would be a better investment.

Jersey #2 - 2012 Orioles Manny Machado game used Spring Training / BP jersey from first ML Spring Training. #85

Both show good use.
