In honor of the M's opening day of their 40th season, here are a couple of gamers from their inaugural 1977 season. The white home jersey belonged to backup catcher, Skip Jutze, and the very rare blue 1-year style road jersey belonged to Tommy Smith. Both have had the NOBs restored by Lon Lewis but besides that everything else is original.
Inaugural year M's regular season gamers...GREAT STUFF.

This makes me want to go and start looking through my bins or stuff. I wish i had room to display most of it. It almost takes the fun out of having stuff like this, especially if you can't enjoy it. Maybe it's time to thin the collection

I'm loving this thread's resurgence. Gorgeous Randy Johnson gamer, Phil! Always loved the white stroke around the "Mariners" work mark on the original teal style. And fantastic mr. Mariner memorabilia you have there, Rays & Mariners! I'll continue the old school M's stuff and post some vintage M's stuff when I get home.
