Panthers use a very weird base line. I too have owned a panthers jersey with crook numbers. They are known for this. So its not to much to worry about. I'm very OCD with number placement so I sold it. But yeah its a uniqueness with some panthers jerseys.

When I have time, I will exame the jersey again to check the angles of the jersey number. It really doesn't bother me though because Carr jerseys are so difficult to get a hold of.

Crooked numbers make the jersey a unique piece... EBAY 1 of 1?!!!! jk guys

Thats what it is, they use the NFL shield as a base. I noticed this for 06 blue jerseys. Look at the NFL shield positioning. And look at where the 8 is placed in comparison.

I wanted to buy that from him...but passed on it because it bothered me how the 8's were so crooked on the front and the back. I thought maybe it was just the angle of his pics, but both 8's are crooked in your pics too. Guess whoever was in charge of sewing on the jerseys numbers that day came to work a little hungover.
