Nice Rickey bats. Did these come from Mike Weiss (who I am told now goes by the name of Mike Grossberg)?Leave a comment:

I agree, rather sloppy handwriting. I still thought the Sox jersey was a nice piece.Leave a comment:

Re: Rickey Henderson Hit Bats
Nice looking bats, but Rickey doesn't have quite the handwriting skills of Tony Gwynn does he?
I was thought about buying his Red Sox jersey he was selling but the handwriting/long inscription on the back numbers really turned me off on it.Leave a comment:

Rickey Henderson Hit Bats
I was able to grab some Rickey Henderson "hit" bats from a personal friend of Rickey's, including a HR bat. I hadn't seen any of these before. As a teammate of Tony Gwynn's at the time, I'm sure Tony told Rickey to start numbering some of his bats as he approached the milestone. He even colored in a few of the bats like Tony used to. I was at Tony's final game when Rickey hit #3,000 with one of these same natural finished Rawlings.
For all of you Rickey fans out there, I hope you enjoy!
