I actually have a huge poster that was signed by the whole team many ages ago that I still have framed in my sports room.

Anyway, I have always wanted to find a game worn helmet and/or jersey to add to my collection. Can anyone point me in the right direction? A helmet, especially being able to link it to the player, would be the ultimate. Please help! Feel free to email me or message me...of course during commercials since today is the big day lol
I might be able to help you with a helmet. Email me (seminolecollection@gmail.com) and I will provide you with the email address of a fellow collector/seller who might be able to help you out.

I'm afraid the ceremony happened for this year (Sept. 13, I think).

Page Not Found (404): It looks like you're lost... The page you are looking for no longer exists.

Really? That's awesome! Do you know if there is a public ceremony? I'd love to attend.

I have seen the 'Noles auction some baseball jerseys they wore on their ALS nights. The auctions were in 2010 and 2011, I think. Google search might yield more accurate results than my memory can (I am getting old). I know the baseball program recycled jerseys for use over the years, so finding a #32 jersey you could trace back accurately to 1999 might be tough. Cooper was my guy as we are both from Jax and I loved watching him play basketball as well at Fletcher High School. Truly a great athlete. I will try to post a pic of it on here at some point in time.

At this rate, let's hope to add a Jameis Winston jersey to our collections!
I can't wait to see a pic of the garnet Cooper jersey. I am excited to see more Seminole collectors out there. Re: Winston, I think "famous jameis" is the real deal. I can't wait to see what he does throughout his college career.

I find it interesting that they screened the names on the back of the jerseys because it would seem that when a player was done using the jersey, it wasn't recycled. I assume screened on names can be removed, but I don't think this was the case (if anyone knows otherwise, please enlighten me as I am always excited to learn something new). So if this is the case, what happened to the jersey when A player graduated or was done using it? Could the player keep it? Were they thrown away? Recycled for practice? Donated?
Kind of answering my own question here, but apparently a screened on name can be removed from the back of a jersey. I added a game worn Marvin Ferrell jersey to my collection, which can be seen here: http://imageevent.com/seminolecollec...=0&w=4&s=0&z=2.

I guess the next step would be to find one that has been recycled for game use.
