I have a Goodman&Sons 85/86 Concepcion Game used jersey with the "C" patch.

I read that Dave Concepcion was made Captain of Reds team in 1983. I have seen several photos of him wearing the "C" on his jersey, but have also seen several photos of him up through his last year (with Reds) not wearing the "C" patch. Did he remain Captain until he left or did he just choose not to wear it. Does anyone own one of his GU jerseys with patch? Pete Rose was Captain before Dave, but I don't believe he ever wore the "C".
