Good news. I sent a photo to the current coach of ICC and he said this is not game worn, but was given to Thome by the team for a charity event in 2005... So it's not a gamer, but was given to Thome by the team.

You could email their current coach and just see if he has any idea of the era or time frame that jersey was worn. Current coach has been there since 2000 so he should know if it is something more recent or not.

If you do go down that path, keep the email short and sweet. Tt is baseball season now to college coaches!

Reading the "JockBio Jim Thome" page, he only played at ICC for one year. Not putting down the jersey, but college players do not change jersey numbers often through out a year.

If you do a google search, it looks like Thome wore #44 for ICC. Also, the jersey looks much newer than something worn int he late 80's. Did he ever come back and help with a clinic possibly or event?

I just picked this up and was told it was purchased from a Peoria Illinois Charity. The jersey is a ICC ( Illinois Central College ) #25 Jim Thome used baseball jersey. There is no paperwork with the jersey but I did confirm Thome went to ICC. I can't find any pictures of Thome playing at ICC but I also can't find these jerseys for sale out there. Any feelings on this one? Thanks
