Sweet. Maybe I can luck out and get 1 or 2 in BP when the Padres come to Wrigley Field.

PETCO Park 10th Anniversary commemorative baseball
As I am sure a lot of you are aware I picked up a job selling game used for the San Diego Padres through a company Fanatics Authentic. I mentioned the possibility of using a commemorative baseball and I was told to provide them with more information about commemoratives. I put together a pitch with the help of Zach from bigleaguebaseballs.com and we did a couple designs based off of a logo for the 10TH anniversary of PETCO Park that they were already using. I submitted it and they liked it and decided to go with it. I was hesitant to say anything about it until it was official and now it is. It made it's way into a game Saturday night against the Dodgers. I was able to secure the first pitch for my collection. I may be biased, but it is a great looking ball. I am definitely grateful to the Padres organization too for everything they did to make this a reality. This is very surreal considering my primary collection is game used commemorative baseball I can't even wrap my head around the fact that I got to be part of the process of making one.Tags: None
