If it's the bat I think you're talking about, I have doubts that it's real. Yeah some bats had jeter, but the 2 on that knob is funky looking.Leave a comment:

Nope I haven't bought anything yet. Everything else matches perfectly. I was scanning through getty images though and especially in 2002, he did in fact put #2 on the knob of his bat quite a few times. Not to say that this is real....... but not sure I could say the bat is not game used just because of the 2. There have also been a couple PSA DNA graded jeter bats with the #2 marked on it also.
However, I wouldn't take PSA for granted but after scanning getty images, he did in fact mark at least a few bats with the #2 on them.

I have seen it on a couple of block letter, rookie era bats but not on anything from 2000 range and forward.

Hey,
I am wondering if anyone has seen any early 2000's Game Used Jeter bats with the #2 written on the knob/top of barrel (end of bat). I know this wasn't common practice for him but I would like to know if he did that back then. Also, please post pictures to confirm
