Re: Show us your Game Used Cleats
I have these Torii Hunter 2013 cleats from when he played on the Tigers. Been looking to move them for some reason.

Joe, that G-Man logo is sweet. I've never seen a custom pair of the Big Bears cleats before. You ever decide to move them let me know. CheersLeave a comment:

Got some John Lynch cleats. Of the pictures I have found so far I have seem him wear that style in the 2002 NFC Divisional Playoff game vs San Francisco and in the Super Bowl. I saw a very different style for a game in 2001 so I am guessing these are from sometime in the 2002 season... I hope.

Re: Show us your Game Used Cleats
Here are a few pictures of a couple of pairs of early Oakland A's cleats. The first pair were worn by Sal Bando and are the standard Adidas, white (of course) with green stripes and green laces. The number 6 I marked on each tongue. The second pair is Vida Blue's white Riddell cleats, with the pitcher toe. The name Blue is written inside each tongue. The Adidas sticker inside the right shoe may be on some type of sole insert.
The A's wore the Riddell cleats first, then most of the team went to Adidas. Vida Blue seems to have favored Riddell, and Reggie Jackson and several others wore Pumas.Leave a comment:

Re: Show us your Game Used Cleats
I'm not terribly enthusiastic about cleats, but I do have a pair given to me in 2006 by Tony Clark in a care package of GU items he sent to me when I was bedridden much of the season with a back infection that precipitated a resumption of kidney dialysis for a year plus prior to my second (and still working) transplant.

I can only imagine how big those Clark gamers are. He is an enormous man and I always thought he looked a little funny in the batters box. Looked like he was holding a toothpick.Leave a comment:
