I believe it says it in the listing, but the jersey is also from the year after Fouts retired...

True - and 1988 was the first year for the navy/white bolt style.

So unless this was an "over the street clothes" jersey for some event at the stadium it wouldn't even be game issued.

Should have a nameplate. Letters should be heat-pressed, not sewn.

The Fouts jersey doesn't have a nameplate. The letters are sown on to the jersey.
