Re: Robin Roberts game used bat.
Roberts wore numbers 36 and 38 throughout his career ( with the Phillies, Orioles, Astros, and Cubs) not 34.

Re: Robin Roberts game used bat.
If you google "robin Roberts game used bat". It brings up one that sold in coaches corner auction. It was a model B188. And I doubt it was really robin Roberts.Leave a comment:

Re: Robin Roberts game used bat.
Malta's book shows only 7 bats total for Roberts' career -- three in '51 and one each in 1953-56. All 7 listed as H117 models, 34 inches long, 33 ounces, block letter, standard finish. The four later bats are all All-Star Game bats -- so Roberts essentially was shipped three regular bats in '51 and that's it. No orders after 1956. Which begs the question -- is your bat from 1951? If not, it could have belonged to another Roberts.Leave a comment:

Vince Maltas book shows he only ordered H117 and they were 35 inches long.Leave a comment:

Robin Roberts game used bat.
I traded a Lis Phillies Flanned to great Southampton PA collector for a Robin Roberts bat. I am trying to get info so that I can sell. It is 35" just under 32oz, block letter ROBERTS. Looks like last couple of years of career based on H&B info. Heavy lefty use, light right use. What should be on the knob?Tags: None
