I have one like it, but its been painted purple. Its a Rawlings, with the MLB hologram inside. I have no idea what team it may be from, or its history. I found it at an unclaimed baggage store and bought it. It had decals on it but they had been removed. But its just like this one, black inside, painted on the outside.

Just bought this on eBay, have you guys ever seen one like this? Seller advised me its not a home job that its a factory painted Rawlings helmet, he received it with the decal as well. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the underside being black and not blue is normal and if there should be a Rawlings logo on the outside or where it would be in the inside. I bought it to get signed by an 70s-80s player but just wanted to see if anyone could tell me more about it compares to any flapless Rawlings they ownAttached Files -
