Re: Rickey henderson Ricky henderson cooper bats

I like to collect Cooper bats of Jays players. I prefer low end priced bats and thusly am fine without game use. If looking to sell pls email me with a price. Thanks! Chris - chris@pacmedia.ca

I think henderson used coopers in his earlier years 1985-1989 era , I found this example that sold for 260$ in 2006 (had game use though):
Beautiful well-used gamer from the future Hall of Famer and baseball's most brilliant and fleet-footed lead-off man. The 3,000 Hit Club member would enjoy the greatest offensive production of his career while wielding this bat in the service of the Yankees (1985-89). Offered is Rickey's weapon of choice throughout these years: a signature model T141 blonde Cooper Pro 100 stick measuring 34 inches. It shows moderate to heavy use, with copious amounts of pine tar on the handle and a crack at the barrel. Henderson's number "21" as well as the personal directive, "Speed", is markered on the knob. An exceptional representation.

Certificate No: 34225 Issued: Dec 19, 2006 Est. Value: $261

Authentition: 100% Authentic Team, Psa Bats/John Taube

    People: Rickey Henderson

If this is the game issued bat with no use personally I wouldn't pay more than 100 bucks for it. With no use all it would be good for is an autograph in my opinion.

Not sure if the missing 'e' would add any premium but Cooper bats are considered an off brand for Rickey as he used mostly Louisville sluggers, Mizunos, Carolina Clubs and Rawlings Adirondacks (the later years of his career). Cooper bats would be worth substantially less than a Rickey Louisville,Mizuno, Carolina Clubs or Rawlings.

Anyone know the value of a henderson cooper bat without the E in Ricky ? Not sure if that helps date it.
