I will try this next and let you know. I spent alot of time searching but it seams most posts are about gloves and jerseys.

Dry Ice is used quite commonly to rid items of smell. Not sure how you could do it with baseballs, just an FYI

    mildew on baseballs

So i happened across a estate sale today. I was doing some digging and came across 2 big boxes of signed baseballs. Most are from the 80's, some from the 70's and 60's. They where stored for a year wrapped in newspaper. They stink to the high heavens of mildew. The funny thing not much toning or water damage, sigs have not faded much either.

My only issues is they are smell like mildew. Any safe way to remove the smell ?
