Anyone have an account with Getty?
I'm looking to purchase a few photos for photomatching reasons and would like the photos without the Getty Image watermark. Any help would be great. Thanks!Leave a comment:

Re: Getty images. Can anybody purchase..
UPDATE:
PICTOPIA is your best bet. If you still cannot find your image there, scroll down and click on the 'photo request' link. Here's where you enter the image details and get pricing.
I thought prices came via e-mail, sorry.Leave a comment:

Re: Getty images. Can anybody purchase..
first you have to set up an account with AP.
Once you did that, log in and find the pic(s) you want (make note of the image number & date).
go into the 'services' tab under your account main page.
There you will find a 'personal use' link. Click that.
This will take you to a list of their partners (Pictopia, Art.com, Replay Photos).
I used Pictopia for mine. - Search each of these for your photos. If they are not available on these 3 sites then you have to submit a 'photo request'. (remember the image number & date? - these are what you will use to make your request)
They will get back to you within 48 hours via e-mail and there they will give your options for sizes and prices, should you choose to buy.
I hope this helps you out. Best of luck.Leave a comment:

Re: Getty images. Can anybody purchase..
Getty is pricey too. Not $850.00, but a couple hundred for rights to print.
AP Images is pretty reasonable. I got a 16x20 off there for under $75(shipped).Leave a comment:

Re: Getty Images Photo Match Question
Licensing an image on Getty can range from several hundred to several thousand dollars depending on 1) whether the image is royalty-free or rights-managed and 2) your specific usage scenario and term.
You'll notice I said 'licensing' not 'purchasing' an image. You are not buying an image from Getty and do not own it. You are licensing the rights to use the image in a specific way for a predetermined amount of time.
Hope that helps.
