Well, Brad gave it a great effort, but he did not make the cut. He finished at +5, and I believe the cut was +3.
He had a hell of a time with the narrow fairways and couldn't keep his driver straight. Playing at Augusta, that's one thing you need - a straight, consistent drive. The irons were fine and he putted well, but in all just couldn't put it together.
But in reality, there probably isn't 1 single person here that can walk away and say - 'Hey, I just shot a 73, 77 at Augusta."
I look forward to chatting with him on our home courses. Maybe next time!

Not a bad start today. 3rd group off the tee and he ended up finishing with a +1, and, at the moment I type this, is tied for 54th - with the leader (B. Watson) at -5.Leave a comment:

Brad Benjermain - PGA Masters
Just thought it was cool. Brad and I have golfed together for years around the Rockford and Roscoe area (mostly Ledges CC). Now my boy is in the Masters. He didn't do all that well in the par 3 tourney today, but he could use all the support he can get.
Keep an eye out for him......
