Former Dodger King dies
Clyde King, whose seven seasons as a MLB pitcher included six for the Brooklyn Dodgers, has died of multiple health issues. He was 86.
King's last season was 1953, which was his only season with Cincinnati. He later managed the Giants, Braves and Yankees, with the high point being a 90-72, 2nd place (NL West) finish with San Francisco in 1969, his first managerial season.
