And finally... another first in professional sports...

The Colorado Avalanche are playing the Philadelphia Flyers... The Avs have a 3-1 lead at the end of regulation. Normally, this would constitute a win...

However, this was no ordinary night. The game would go to overtime, where the Flyers scored twice, tying the game! I do not know how this match concluded, but the events described by the photo below are certainly unprecedented...

I've got 2 more of these! Bear with me...

Who could ever forget the time the SF 49ers played the Chicago Bears. Gould drilled 2 field goals in the 2nd quarter to give his team a 6-0 lead.
The Bears countered with a drive of their own that resulted in points... well... ummm... point.

The Bears apparently found a way to kick an extra point without first scoring a touchdown...

So...I'm at my computer following along the Kansas City / Oakland game and watching my fantasty team which is just a Sebastian Janikowski field goal away from winning for the week... and then a miracle happens... He not only hits, but he shatters the all time record by 30 yards!
