One of MLBs oldest former player dies
Ralph Hodgin, an OF who spent 6 seasons in the Majors and compiled a respectable lifetime .285 BA died October 4 at age 96.
Hodgin spent one year with the Boston Bees (Braves) (1939) and then reappeared in the Majors for five seasons with the White Sox (1942-44 and 1946-47).
