Allie Clark dead at age 88

Clark played for 4 American League teams from 1947-53 as a reserve outfielder. Though breaking in with the 1947 Yankees, Clark was best remembered as a Cleveland Indian, getting into 81 games for their 1948 World Championship team. He also spent time with the Athletics and White Sox.
