NBA/ABA journeyman Hamilton dies
Dennis Hamilton, a 4-year pro hoops player who split his career in halves with the NBA and ABA, died June 18 at age 68.
Hamilton played from 1967-68 through 1970-71, with a different team in each of his four playing seasons. He started with the Lakers, played his second season in Atlanta, crossed over to the ABA in his third year as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates, and wound things up in his final campaign with the Kentucky Colonels.
