Former Cub Ceccarelli dead
Art Ceccarelli, a pitcher who threw for three different teams between 1955-1960, died July 11 at age 82.
Ceccarelli, after serving in the military, pitched for the Kansas City Athletics in 1955-56 and the Orioles in 1957. Not appearing in the majors in 1958, he resurfaced in 1959, performing for the cubs in that season and also in 1960.
