Just curious what people think about the sale of this sample of the rare Honus Wagner card. It's graded PSA 5 (MC).
Arizona Diamondbacks owner Ken Kendrick paid a record $2.8 million for the highest-graded Wagner card (PSA 8) in existence in 2011. Has it been devalued since then because of the recent revelation through the Mastro investigation? A grade PSA 5 Wagner card sold for $1.62 M in 2008.
Does anyone think the recent news about the Gretsky Wagner card will effect the final sale price of this sample either positively or negatively? Why?
