Offered for sales is a 1981 Chicago Cubs road pinstripe jersey worn by Hector Cruz. This is a 4 year style the Cubs worn in the late 70's and early 80's. This jersey was sent down to the minors like most jerseys of that era. I have had the jersey professionally and beautifully restored by Lon Lewis, who was the equipment manager for the Giants in the 1980's. The name and numbers have been restored, but the Chicago team name on the front of the jersey is all originally along with the Cubs team patch. Very tough to notice that the jersey isn't all original.
The jersey has the proper Wilson tagging in the collar - 27, 81, 2, 40 and a year tag, 81 in the tail.
The jersey is in excellent condition.
I am asking $300. for the jersey and always interested in trading for White Sox jerseys from the 1970''s - 90's.
