I was just checking out the results from the latest Vintage Authentics auction and ran across lot #101: Willie Mays Adirondack 113E bat that sold last night for $1075 plus commission.

The reason I even noticed is that I have two Willie Mays Adirondack bats I'm willing to sell. One is almost identical to the Vintage Authentics example, except that mine has P302F stamped only below the Adirondack, not both above and below. Check out the pictures of mine - its got super use and heavy pine tar - much nicer than the one that VA just auctioned. Anyway, let me know if you're interested. Perhaps the Vintage Authentics underbidder is a GUU registered user and wants to get a much better bat for a much cheaper price?
I also have a 1961-63 white lettering Adirondack Willie Mays stamped 282D on the knob. Please let me know if interested and I'll privode more details.
