This past weekend, In Detroit, Michigan we had the 1968 MVP and CY Young Award Winner Denny Mclain at our show. Denny was an extremely popular guest as he is the ONLY living 30 game winner in Major League Baseball. In 1968 Denny was 31-6 and sent the Tigers to the world series.
Denny signed up a storm as he doesnt sign thru the mail, and even had to stay over his scheduled time to accommodate all the fans. He gave everyone a nice hello and thank you, and posed for photos for everyone who requested it. We do not charge for your photo taken with the stars, unlike some stars or show promoters do, as we try an make it a family type show. Denny, Loves his diet Pepsi and when you work with him, you make sure the man has a cold one!
We also had 11 time all-star Bill Freehan, who was popular as always. Bill has really kept in shape and looks very strong to this day. In the 1968 World Series.......Bill blocked Lou Brock of the Cardinals in what is known as THE PLAY AT THE PLATE. The Tigers came back and won the series 4-3. Many Collector needed signed baseballs from Bill and team items to be signed. Always a pleasant man to be with.
Thom Darden was our football guest an is always a class act. Thom was an All American at Michigan and an All Pro in the NFL .
