Re: albert pujols game worn 2005 batting helmet signed

    Hello,

I am pretty certain from the information I have been able to obtain that this helmet was sold to a collector several months ago. I am trying to find out is if the person who bought this outstanding helmet might be willing to sell.

    Thank you,

    Karl

I would kill to have this helmet, and I am just drooling. $5,000 seems a little high, but $3,000 seems fairly reasonable

    $5000?

When you listed this item on eBay a few months ago, your listing said something like "send offers, but less than $2000 ain't gonna happen".

    Hello,

I believe this item has been sold, but I am looking to purchase this item. If anyone has any information on how I might find the owner of this outstanding autographed helmet it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Kwitzel

Ok here is my bid... 150 dollars, 3 pine cones, an empty bottle of revive Vitamin water, handfull of sunflower seeds, 3 golf tees, 2 AA batteries(rechargable), a slightly used ink cartridge from a HP printer scanner copier. I'll also throw in a coaches whistle, and a deck of playing cards with 51 cards, missing the king of spades.

It only makes sense to list the price with the item under the "for sale" category. However, if someone feels your price is too high, you will get critized. Every member of this forum searches eBay. How 'bout listing on eBay, then posting a link on this forum. Or better yet, consign it to Game Used Universe's auctions. It is true, everybody wants something for nothing. I would rather see a high price, instead of make me a "serious offer".

*from my experience, the days before a full moon bring out the moody b*tch from most forum posters. Gentlemen, let's keep it clean...there is a full moon on Monday. All those on the West Coast, look out for a quake on Sunday night or Monday.

A guy I do trades with is interested in the item and says the seller wants at least $5000 for the helmet......so unless you are going to offer at least $4,000, you are probably wasting your time.

First off, great item, I think Batting Helmets are truly undervalued...but I too would like to see a price set instead of "best (serious) offer". I can top the $150 (hehe), but I'm sure I'm not even in the ball park as to what you'd want for the helmet. Guess I'm old school, I remember buying my E. Murray O's gamer for next to nothing compared to today's prices. Is this the type of item that would be better suited for the GUU auction? Just some thoughts. Again, great Pujols item, you don't see many helmets come up. Jay.

Yea, i see what you're saying.. but when the seller comes back and says

crazy one of the nicest items ive seen on this forum and not too many good offers wow thought this was a good place to sell ??

Thats just kind of a lame shot.. unnecessaryto say the least.. I mean its all about haggling.. so post a high price and say you're taking offers.. just thought i'd put my 2 cents in because im bored.. take care everyone

Let the guy sell his helmet any way he wants to. If he wants to sell and it makes sense that he includes a price, great. If someone wants to make an offer that he can't refuse, that's great for the parties involved. I love how others love to tell the owners of items how to sell their stuff. Come on!!

By the way, best of luck with the sale. It's a great item and it probably wouldn't be generating these complaints if it wasn't.

What would be a serious offer? OK how about $150? This is exactly what I was talking about in the thread about setting a price. Obviously you're going to say no to my offer because you have an idea of what you'd like to get for it. So why not post a price?
