jobathenut - Thanks for the info. I think the same way everytime I see a bat shatter at Turner Field. I'll see it fly into the infield, and guess that it'll be stickered up by MLB within the next minute or two.

kylehess10-hi there-just wanted to respond to something you said in your listing, that you thought it was from either a game at tampa or minnesota cause of the fake grass in it,well, me and my brother were at the yankees/twinkies game this season at the inflatiable toliet they call a stadium here, and damon broke his bat during the game,we were sitting first row behind home plate and i even said to my brother,i wonder who gets the bat and my brother said,steiner...so i guess he was right about that......just wanted to say it couldbe been that game

Wow! That sounds very tedious. Good luck man. I wish I could photomatch some stuff but ultimately I know it would be nearly impossible.

It's not really that hard, you just have to have a watchful eye. I look for the most smallest detail including loose stitches on jerseys and single ball marks on bats. Plus having MLB.tv is an advantage.

Kyle you should really start your own photo matching service. You could make a good amount off to the side.

Actually that's what I've been doing for the past month or so. I photomatch cheap stuff on eBay and resell them. Today alone I photomatched 4 things on eBay which I plan to go after...some of them have pretty sweet matches to go with them.

That's right. I bought it to photomatch it but I'm having trouble finding the right video. I've gone through over 3 hours of Damon at-bats from the past 2 season and I still have a LOT more to go through.

I know they list them as $1500. I sure hope there aren't people that pay that much for a Damon bat.

I have for sale a 2008 Johnny Damon game used broken bat. It has the Steiner game used hologram on the knob and comes with an LOA from Steiner also. It was broken during a game in 2008 and has a few small spots of fresh sticky tar. The bat was broken in two then taped back together either by the Yankees (most-likely) or Steiner. There are 3 blades of artificial turf stuck in the barrel, so this bat was broken in either Tampa or Minnesota. The bat can be stylematched to several games this year, and Steiner sells Damons broken bats for $1,500 on their site (http://www.steinersports.com/ssm/con...MOJBATGU000000#).
