What do you mean? It was a comment. His stuff is so awesome, and I wish I could get some bats that were so well photomatched, I just havn't seen a bat he is selling of a player I really want. I didn't mean anything bad. It was a compliment.

I've come to realize that this bat was used by BOTH Russell Martin and Brad Penny in the SAME NIGHT! Penny was using this bat for his first 2 at-bats during the game, then Martin took the bat when broke it in the 6th inning. Penny batted in the 3rd & 4th innings.

Up for sale is a photomatched/videomatched Russell Martin game used broken bat. This is a Brad Penny model SAM bat that Martin used on May 19th, 2008, and it has both the MLB (BB885911) & Steiner (55011) holograms. It is broken in half and the break is videomatched. The handle was shown on TV right after Martin broke this bat. This bat was most-likely used by Brad Penny first, then given to Martin, since Penny's number "31" is written on the knob in silver. The production date on the end of the barrel is 2/13/08. This bat is loaded with use, including a heavy amount of tar, many many many hit marks, multiple ink-transfers, and a couple cleat marks. My asking price is $125 which includes priority mail with delivery confirmation
