I, for one, don't think I'd want to ask Pete to sign one of those, to be honest. Yeah, I'm sure it probably wouldn't bother him that much, at this point, but still...it would make me feel uncomfortable.

Although I did once ask a friend who was going to a wedding reception where Monica Lewinsky was going to be to try to get to her to sign a cigar. He even took the cigar and was going to do it, but she was a no-show. I'd have liked to know how that would have turned out.

I was wrong about the date, apparently - Rose is signing at the North Phoenix Baptist Church on June 13th...Graig Nettles is on May 9th. They haven't announced what tickets are going to cost on Rose, but I seem to remember it being at least fifty the last time. You can get contact info on the promoter, Jeff Thalblum, by Googling "Free Agent Sports Marketing".

some of those dowd reports are just copies... the ones i have are numbered, i guess the copies can be numbered also, but ive seen copies without numbers.. i believe 500 were made for the public, i got mine from the courthouse in cinn.

If you would, could you check out the back page of the first page titled, "Confidential"? On mine, there is a stamp that reads,

Official Shorthand Reporter
Room 225 Courthouse
Cincinnati, Ohio 45202 #41

I've seen Rose sign balls with the inscription "I shot JFK," I doubt he'd flinch at signing a Dowd Report with whatever the applicable fee is.
