just a thought......... if a team buys helmets for the season and pays 100 apiece, dontcha think they should be happy to sell the item for the same 100 bucks at the end of the season??? they would outfit the team at no cost every year...... nooooooooooooo the teanm has to soak the people that pay outragious parking prices, food and ticket prices... they pay millions in salaries and they have to nickle and dime their fan base... think about it

Teams would still be throwing away the stuff or giving it away for free if fans weren't paying those prices in the first place. And yes, in 2004 somebody would have gladly paid that $250 price for a Kearns helmet at the Reds Dugout Shop.
