I had a very crazy day. Long story short, the Cowboys items are back in the warehouse for inventory. They are scheduled to be sold at another location on Friday. Tent sale is April 29/April 30. I came up empty handed.

Every Cowboy from the past 5 years. I know they still have some good players (Adams, Davis, Henry, Sensabaugh, Brookings, Crayton, Gurode, Kitna, etc) All of the top players have already sold.

They had a ton of Crayton items. They had probably 4 GU jerseys, 10 pairs of cleats, and a ton of gloves. I may can get you some.

Wow, that must be like Cowboys heaven. If you picked up some Crayton gloves or cleats I would be very interested. I have several of his items but have been unable to locate any cleats or gloves. Thank you!

No they are still strong with Steiner. All of the items I have got are older items. They are from 09 and earlier, nothing from this past season. Most of it is inventory that had Prova Group chips or old stock. The Cowboys had 460 jerseys they sold and also had over 1000 gloves they had stock piled and decided to just liquidate the inventory. Their loss wass my gain!!! I ended up with a ton of Cowboys stuff that I would of never been able to afford from Steiner.

Does this mean their arrangement with Steiner is no longer? I have noticed that Steiner's selection is very limited and their prices have dropped. Early this year they were offering game used jerseys for around $300 which is quite a reduction from their usual $1000 asking price. Do you think Jerry is tired of paying the middle man? Susanne

Brother your telling me! Did you see the Roy Williams I posted in the general forum? Photomatched as his last game in a Cowboys uni!!! By far my favorite piece of sports memorabilia.

I talked to the manager of the Grapevine store and he said they had 4 Romo's and 4 Austin jerseys. Total they had 460 jerseys that were in the sale from 04-10. I did not get to the sale until the 3rd day but they still had some nice jerseys. He told me a guy tackled another guy for a Witten jersey. I wish I had got the Gurode 09 jerseys because there were 2 that were battle tested. They had tears and mud all over them. The left overs are going to the Cowboys tent sale in a few weeks but I am sure there will only be scrubs and game issued jerseys left.

I got a couple of jersey from the same place dwolfe did - including a Tashard Choice rookie - and they are legit. They went so fast that I'm surprised that I got one!

The Prova Group has the COA and the micro chips in them. The only problem is that the Prova Group has gone out of business so you can no longer track them or anything. I do have the receipt from the Cowboys that lists the jerseys as game used though if that helps. Also there are stains on most of the jerseys. These have been washed before the chips were installed, but you can still see some of the dirt and grass on them.
