Mike Marshall game used Adirondack bat from the 1988 NLCS. Bat displays heavy use including pine tar, ball and seam marks and cleat marks. His number 5 is located on both the knob and barrel end. And the handle does have a crack.
There is a strong chance that Mike carried this bat over into world series use because the bat displays several red ball marks. The world series baseballs that year had red stampings. I did go through the video of game 1(Kirk Gibson homerun game), Mike did use a rawlings bat but the video wasn't good enough to tell if it's the same bat and I don't have the DVD set for the other games.
