Gotta love the glory days,,,I moved to the other side of the state and my son will go to Brighton to hopefully pick up where Henson left off a few years back.

I remember back in my HS days..there was this kid playing from Kalamazoo that just was in a whole different league than the rest of us. Some Yankee now.

If either of you guys back on the west side of the state hear of anything come up...shoot me a line and maybe I can land some of the other hometown jerseys.

Brieve - you go to HCHS and live by Curt and Courtney or Mike and Dan?

I follow him still, yeah. He plays FFB with my roommate. I played ball in high school with him... his Sr year and my Jr year we were 1 game from facing Drew Henson in the state tourney. In little league I was better though which is the story I like to tell, haha

I grew up in Holland and live in Grand Rapids now. I didn't know Andy Van Hekken, but grew up in the same neighborhood as his cousins. Last I heard he was in AAA for the Astros. I remember watching his MLB debut for the Tigers in 2000 or 2001.

Yeah, I recall from another post that you are from Holland. Did you go to school with him there and is he still bouncing around in the minors? Still pretty cool, hopefully you are able to keep in touch with him.

I have a West Michigan Whitecaps home jersey from 2005 that was worn by Dallas Trahern. It is not a specialty jersey, however.
