    Cubs ace Kyle Hendricks had a night to forget against Milwaukee on Sunday. Hendricks gave up 4 home runs in the first inning, the first Cubs hurler to ever do so and the 9th overall in MLB historry.

    Saturday night Indiana pounded Oklahoma City 152-95. It created two new records:

    1) It was the highest single-game point total in Pacers history.

    2) It was the largest home loss (by the Thunder) in NBA history.

    In the first game of today's Cubs doubleheader sweep over the Dodgers, the Cubs torched Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw for 4 runs in the first inning. That was Kershaw's ONLY inning, as he was gone for the 2nd inning...the shortest start of his MLB career.

    Talking Kings' Kopitar reaches milestone

    In the Kings 4-2 win over the Coyotes Wednsday night, defenseman Anze Kopitar was credited with an assist on a late-game empty net goal. The assist was the 1000th point of his career.
